JEF Malta’s statement on the current political situation in Malta

Given that one of JEF's main goals is to advocate for a Europe based on the core principles of democracy, subsidiarity and rule of law, JEF Malta insists that the investigation into the assassination of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia must be free of any political interference and that justice be allowed to run its course. We appeal to authorities to take the necessary steps to make sure that justice is duly served.
